Michaela is a graduate of George Washington University where she received a BA in Political Science. While Michaela attended GW, she got involved on campus by working for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, serving as a Resident Advisor, and an Orientation Leader. She explored her passion for social justice and advocacy as an intern at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW).

She spends her free time cooking, taking pictures, and watching a lot of Sci-Fi.
