Ingrid Fernandez

Associate Attorney

Ingrid was working as a paralegal when she became inspired to further her ability to advocate for victims of discrimination. She attended law school in the evenings while continuing to work full-time. As an attorney at the firm, Ingrid manages cases in the firm’s employment discrimination and medical abuse practices.

Ingrid gained nine years of paralegal experience before she received her J.D. from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center as a part-time evening student on a merit-based scholarship. During law school, Ingrid was a staff member of the Moot Court Honor Society, where she earned the Spring 2019 CALI award for best oral advocate for Legal Process II and the Faculty Recognition Award in Constitutional Law. Before joining Crumiller, worked as an Associate Attorney at Phillips & Associates PLLC, a high-volume plaintiff-side employment discrimination firm where she worked on cases from inception through trial. Ingrid is the daughter of immigrant parents and proudly identifies as Afro-Latina.

Outside of work Ingrid enjoys cooking, working out and binge-watching shows.
