Crumiller P.C. is hiring a part-time (20 hrs/ week) Billing Manager. This is a great position for someone looking for a flexible, family-friendly position. We are a small, dynamic litigation firm whose primary focus is fighting gender and pregnancy discrimination in the workplace. We also represent tenants, both commercial and residential, in litigation.
You will be the numbers and billing software guru of the firm, and you will be the face of the firm for billing purposes. You must exhibit impeccable attention to detail in generating and proofreading bills. You will also need to be able to pick up new software quickly (we use Clio – an integrated case-management and billing system). Your responsibilities will include preparing and revising monthly invoices, managing and reducing Accounts Receivable by communicating proactively with clients, managing and overseeing our evergreen replenishment system, fielding billing questions and concerns from clients, managing and recording incoming payments, and monitoring timekeeper activities and generating monthly timekeeper reports.
It is mandatory that you be nice. We have enough stress and drama in the course of litigation, and we all work closely together. To that end, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount. However, what I am most interested in is somebody who is meticulous, a systematic thinker, interested in numbers and metrics, quick with software. 2+ years relevant office experience is preferred, but we are more interested in your skills and adaptability than your work history. Lastly, you should be on board with the mission of the firm, which is what drives all of us here.
