XKCD is in first place in the weblog awards contest It’s a neat poll - you can see all kinds of blogs. You can vote once every 24 hours. I want to know which law blog to vote for.

The Perry Bible Fellowship is at http://www.pbfcomics.com. It’s one of my favorites.
I wondered about that too– is Perry Bible Fellowship or something like that still around, I thought that was a big one too.
Jenny, thanks for the little nudge that got me to look at the humor blogs list–I liked Jon Swift. And I really liked The Comics Curmudgeon! I have been sort of stuck in a website rut and it’s fun to poke my head into some other places for a bit.
About the Weblog award contest: it’s strange that the list for webcomic doesn’t have some of the biggies. No Questionable Content, no Penny Arcade, no Dinosaur Comics (my favorite besides Randy).
Yes, this is a private, exclusive blog. Gated.
It’s pretty interesting to read the blog world’s talk about this award. There was some weirdness with Wonkette being accused of cheating. It’s neat that Randy’s site has no reference to the awards - most of the blogs have big buttons to click.
I’m now rooting for my favorite humor blog, Jon Swift, even though the posts are few and far between, I think it’s really witty, even his talking about the award.
Mom/ Gramma — we don’t want publicity– if we did we would have to try harder to not be boring to anyone other than us.
Do we want publicity for this blog?
I realized that we could get publicity for our blog through our relationship with Randy. If we went to all types of blogs and polls like this and said really inflammatory things and insulted everybody, people would start to write posts about how crazy the Family of XKCD was, and then someone influential would discover our blog and link to it. That’s viral marketing, baby!
