Blagojevich Rap by Evan on January 28, 2009 at 5:47 pm
“Hot Rod” Blagojevich has been on a media spree, taking part in seventeen hilarious and entertaining interviews in just forty-eight hours.
However, I suspect that Blagojevich will be acquitted at his criminal trial. I haven’t really seen any legal experts commenting on what might happen, so I turn to our in-house experts. Ooie (and Arastu) do you know anything about this?
All the wiretaps and evidence that I’ve seen or heard seems to indicate that they have Blagojevich threatening and scheming, but not actually DOING. He says he’s going to make all this straight cash off of the senate seat, but he never follows through.
Analogously (is that a word?), imagine that the FBI got me on wiretap saying “I got this plan, and it’s $&#@*ing golden!! I’m going to steal dad’s chess collection and sell it on Ebay!!” They couldn’t charge me with anything (i think.)

Inauguration by jenny on January 15, 2009 at 3:45 pm
Update — I just got our hotel room for Monday night too, so Susan and I are now going to attempt to see the inauguration on Tuesday before going to our ball (we’re mid-atlantic).
I’m hoping to somehow snag tickets to an official inauguration viewing pen, but I doubt that will happen.
Maybe Evvie can post about what he’s going to do.
Susan here are tips for going to the ball.

Music handling on your computer by jenny on January 12, 2009 at 12:26 pm
Since the poll is broken (I can’t get it to work) I put this question to you: how do you organize and play your music on you computer? I keep going back and forth between using Windows Media Player and Itunes. Which one should I use? This includes if I want to copy music from CDs onto the computer — can I use either one to do that?

Vote for XKCD — not that it needs votes! by jenny on January 7, 2009 at 7:22 am
XKCD is in first place in the weblog awards contest It’s a neat poll - you can see all kinds of blogs. You can vote once every 24 hours. I want to know which law blog to vote for.
There was no category for “family blog.”
