Let’s face it, folks. The story is true. John Edwards has not denied it or even threatened any legal action. Foxnews has independently confirmed the story with a security guard who was present…and yet the mainstream media continues to ignore the growing scandal.
What does everyone think? Is the media rightly staying away from the personal business of someone who is no longer a candidate? Or are they not doing their job?
THis is a quote I agree with about John and Elizabeth Edwards from Huffpost: “They lied in a way that made the people who were telling the truth look like the real liars.”

Well, we don’t need the photos anymore after today’s news.
Not only did Edwards cheat and lie to his family and his supporters, but also to the entire Democratic party, the nation, and the world. What would have happened if he had won the nomination? We’d be looking at a major catastrophe here.
I say we tar-and-feather him and run him out of town on a rail.

His behavior seems mysterious and “guilty-like” but I’m justifiably skeptical without photos.
How did this thing play out? “Ha-ha, we got him! But wait — darn it, for the first time ever, I forgot my camera!” “Darn, so did I!” “So did I!” “So did I!” “I forgot mine too!” “Gee, me too!”
The National Enquirer entourage corner him in a hotel and they all forget to bring their cameras and video recorders?!
He probably is not dignifying the allegations with an answer.
I don’t know, if he really hasn’t been denying it, and the accounts I’ve read were pretty compelling — if it were false they’d have to be proving that the guard and the reporter were in cahoots.
I am with Jon. I won’t believe it until I have more proof than one security guard’s word.
I think it’s very weird. Why aren’t the Republicans on it? Phony! Mr. Moral, yuck!
It might very well be true, but show me the photos. I want to see some pictorial evidence.
