Pulling up your fly in this day-and-age is no longer embarrassing. However, pulling down your fly might be embarrassing.
I agree with Marsh. I don’t think she’s been humiliated or anything, she certainly doesn’t seem humiliated. Is pulling up your fly really so embarrassing in this day and age? Maybe the tenuous inter-generational alliance on this blog will be shattered by this question!
I also think people are being a little overly sympathetic when they start feeling genuinely sorry for people who are caught pulling up their fly.
I agree–the first was by far the best. I feel like they could have taken it way further by subtly hinting at specific features of the person being duped–like when he says “she is also known to…leave her gas lid open….”
Hahah - this is hilarious! I actually think the first one is the best. It’s slightly more funny when he is just talking about the person than when he is engaging with them.
It reminded me of the old TV show Candid Camera which I liked. I thought it funny but did feel a little sorry for the first woman. Candid Camera didn’t make fun of people that way.
I felt sorry for the first woman - she didn’t know anyone was watching her pump gas and pulled up her fly and they made fun of her.
