Here’s a program that uses an algorithm to draw upon millions of images to fill in blanks and “guess” what should be there. Here’s two sample images to demonstrate what it does:

notice how in the second picture, the program filled in sailboats–even though none are even present in the original! I think it’s pretty cool.

Well, I doubt it…you’d need millions of images on your computer for it to work, and a lot of time for it to calculate.
