The students are staging a filibuster at PU at the Frist Campus Center — named for you-know-who. My friend is going to read, “My Pet Goat” when it’s his turn. This is our state assemblyman, Reed Gusciora filibustering.

Another post about the filibuster
They’ve been getting tons of media attention. Tomorrow Chris Matthews from “Hardball” is coming (I think he’s from “Hardball.” http://www.princeton.edu/~petehill/filibuster.html

I’m jealous. I want to read My Pet Goat at the filibuster. Maybe we can have a teleconference filibuster.

Ok, looks like they’re protesting Congressman Bill Frist’s attempt to get rid of filibusters–by having one.
I don’t get it–what’s the point of having a filibuster at a university? And what’s this about taking turns? The article doesn’t say what their purpose is.
